Animal can feel it before it starts to rain.
Animal can sense it, the clouds are gathering.

Animal can feel it after the raging storm comes a bright new day.
Animal can sense it, into the wild green lands where they thrive and play.

Animal can feel the danger, life inside incarceration.
Sticks and stones will break their bones and nameless they all die.

Can we look in their eyes?
Can we look in their eyes?
And call ourselves humane?

Animal.

Until that time I gotta voice for animal.

Animal can dream, dream of the scented breeze under a sunny sky.
Animal can sense it, feel peace of mind with space enough to seem alive.
Animal feel torn and lonely its mate and child just trauma memories.
Smell the blood upon the floor, machines they start to…

Can we look in their eyes?
Can we look in their eyes?
And call ourselves humane?

Animal
Animal
Animal
Animal
Animal.

Until that time gotta voice for animal.
Until that time gotta voice for animal.
Animal.
Until that time I gotta voice for animal.
Animal.
Until that time I gotta voice for animal.

ABOUT VOICE FOR ANIMAL

I decided several years back to become a vegan for ethical, environmental and health reasons. I have never looked back.

Animals are treated like slaves and tortured in the same way humans can be – greed, ignorance, the ego-mindset. Whilst pets are revered, the farm animal destined for meat production or enforced, excessive milking is just an object for consumption. This can be changed if people start to question what they are living for. With few geographically determined exceptions (e.g. Tibet, Eskimos), I believe, meat (or dairy) is not needed in diet for healthy nutrition. We are frequently fed lies by lobbyists in the food industry and their paid “scientific” experts.

The scientific proof is out there that animal protein increases vulnerability to illnesses, including cancer. Animal saturated fats are a major contributor to killer no. 1. heart disease. etc. etc:

Vegan Research and Debate Links

The Earth cannot sustain human beings with their level of meat and dairy consumption. Going vegetarian, vegan or reducing levels of animal protein down to an absolute minimum is one of the essential ways to avoid tragedy and misery in the future.

The Power of Now: A Guide to Spiritual Enlightenment – Eckhart Tolle

I found this book to be a very worthwhile read. The clarity of many statements resounded with my inner wisdom and re-awoke that original self. However I do feel that too little attention was brought to the concept of personal development as a journey and process and what creative and healing ramifications that can have for ourselves and our surroundings, in the quest to reconnect with the whole, without necessarily being fully conscious on the way. Determination is not discussed at all, for example. But as an exercise in letting go it is an excellent source of inspiration.

Amazon Review

Ekhart Tolle's message is simple: living in the now is the truest path to happiness and enlightenment. And while this message may not seem stunningly original or fresh, Tolle's clear writing, supportive voice, and enthusiasm make this an excellent manual for anyone who's ever wondered what exactly "living in the now" means. Foremost, Tolle is a world-class teacher, able to explain complicated concepts in concrete language. More importantly, within a chapter of reading this book, readers are already holding the world in a different container–more conscious of how thoughts and emotions get in the way of their ability to live in genuine peace and happiness.

Tolle packs a lot of information and inspirational ideas into The Power of Now. (Topics include the source of Chi, enlightened relationships, creative use of the mind, impermanence, and the cycle of life.) Thankfully, he's added markers that symbolize "break time." This is when readers should close the book and mull over what they just read. As a result, The Power of Now reads like the highly acclaimed A Course in Miracles–a spiritual guidebook that has the potential to inspire just as many study groups and change just as many lives for the better. –Gail Hudson
